TERRIFIC TIP TUESDAY 1-27-15 "Fresh Home Decor Any Time!"

How would you like to have a piece of home decor that you could switch out easily for different seasons . . . even month-to-month?

Our Designed Decor Shadow Box is perfect for this!  Its wooden frame has a hinged back that opens for easy loading.  Sawtooth hangers on the back make for easy hanging.  Available in either Colonial White or Black.  A slick little magnetic closure allows for easy opening to refresh your decor, then holds it firmly in place.

Interior dimensions: 12 x 12.  Tray depth: 1/2".  Total depth when frame is closed 1 1/4"

Do you love playing with dimensional items, like paper Cricut-cut flowers?  This is the PERFECT place to do it!  Something that may be too bulky to easily mail via a card, or use in your albums, could work BEAUTIFULLY in this setting.  Opens up all kinds of creativity for you . . .

For just $28.95, this piece can bring a brand new look to your home decor as often as you like!

January Stamp of the Month Art # 6

Art by Debi Gardner

Isn't it amazing what a little bit of outlining can do to add just the right finishing touch?  A fine black marker provide just what you need to give your work a polished look.

TERRIFIC TIP TUESDAY (oops - Wednesday!) 1-13-15 "Less Is More"

Sometimes we can get our creative minds stuck in an OVERDRIVE rut . . . when it would be great to remember that LESS can be not only just fine . . .  but LESS can be GREAT!

These cards are taken from Page 13 of our Seasonal Expressions 1 issue.  Take a close look . . . Such simple stamping!  Such simple layering!  Such simple embellishing!  With this level of simplicity, does making a few Valentines suddenly sound like more fun???

Don't be worried about making something that is too "simple."  Wouldn't it put a smile on your face to receive one of these in your mailbox???

See more about these cards.

January Stamp of the Month Art # 5

Art by Kimberly Ganiere

Purple, purple, purple!  It's in the sparkles, it's in the ribbon, it's in the ink, the cardstock, and the Shimmer Trim!  Don't they all come together great, in this card?

January Stamp of the Month Art # 4

Art by Maggie Cameron

I especially love TWO things about this card:

1.  The circular stamp that is tone-on-tone in the background
2.  The Black Arrow Washi Tape that is used over a strip of Lagoon cardstock.

Take a peek at the Black Arrow Washi Tape.  When you see it in the catalog, you might think that, when used, it would look like a white piece of tape, with black printing.  But it's actually quite see-through, allowing the color of whatever is underneath to show through.  SO COOL!!!
