I think it's so funny that two very good friends (Debi and Maggie) ended up using the same Sarita paper pack and Skylark Assortment on their cards for this month! Without even knowing it. :-) Debi adds Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape two different ways here. Placed on a white strip down the side, it is a bold accent. Then it's also placed as a sheer "attachment" piece above the sentiment, as well.
