It's a little hard to see in my photo, but a blue opaque dot is added to the top of this lantern, which is a great look!  The glow of the lantern is created using a piecing technique: Stamp the lantern in Outdoor Denim, on the Daisy cardstock.  Then on a piece of Honey cardstock, do the same thing, and cut out the globe.  Then glue this globe on top of the original image stamped on the Daisy cardstock.  Doesn't the BT paper from this Tommy paper pack work great for the background here, as its color echos the glow of the lantern?

This hanging lantern is lifted with 3D Foam Tape, adding dimension to the focal point.  The polkadot background of "Babycakes" paper has a repeated motif, in the little bitty sparkles that are sprinkled here and there.

Laughing Lola Papers are the background for this card.  Something I really love about this set is the different "glow" images that are provided.  Stamped in yellow here, they really brighten these garden-style lanterns.

The word "light" brings so many different ideas to mind, and this stamp set gives us the opportunity to address some very special things.  Light . . . that something in a person that emanates from within.  Light . . . what it does to your life when someone special is in it.  Light . . . what faith brings to a life.

This card is a reminder to someone that their life serves as a beacon.  They "hang their lantern on a cord" to lead others toward better things.

Natural hemp is run through a hole punched in the lantern top, and a bitty sparkle is added for the flame.

Red Shimmer Trim makes the hangers for these ornaments, which are cut on our Cricut Artist cartridge.  A clean Ruby and Daisy color scheme here brings you a chilly cheer!

Whoo's Bringing Holiday Cheer?

These stamp images come from the Season's Tweetings Gift Bag Kit, featured in our Holidays From the Heart Gift Guide.  I combined them here with Pear, Lagoon and Daisy cardstocks for a bright and cheery non-traditional color palette.  

Some Bitty Sparkles for the mistletoe berries and our fabulous Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape pair up for great embellishments.  Aqua Dots are the perfect eyes!

 I wanted to show you these two cards together.  Both artists chose a Kraft and Ruby color scheme.  But Tina's card emphasizes the Kraft, while Shannon's card brings out the red.  Note how the difference in Baker's Twine color makes a difference with these . . . soft or bright.  Gotta love them both!

I stamped this darling little bird image twice; once in Honey and once in Ruby.  Then by cutting and layering the Ruby wing, this bird comes alive!  A grey pearl added for the eye gives it a nice finish.  Our Washi Tape running down the right side of this card is so much fun to use.

See the velvet-looking background here?  That's created simply by swiping a Ruby ink pad across Ruby cardstock.  It adds such a rich texture to this card.
