What Makes You Smile?

You know how sometimes your camera is magically within reach when you see something beautiful? This was one of those times. The view is through my kitchen window, and the feeder hangs on our deck. I love the silhouette of the hummingbird . . . so still.

This is one of the pictures I have put in "My Happy Book" - a little album chock full of photos that simply make me smile. They're not in any order . . . they don't have any specific theme, other than the fact that they bring a smile to my face and nourishment to my soul.

Would you like to make your own "My Happy Book"? Contact me, and we can set up a class for you and your friends. Just bring photos that make you smile, and I'll bring the rest!

March Stamp of the Month Art #8

Art by Leslie Ann Chivers

One more card done with our Roxie papers, this time a nice square 4 x 4 (Leslie Ann's favorite card size!) Did you know you can get 4 cards this size out of one 12 x 12 piece of paper? It's a wonderfully efficient size.

March Stamp of the Month Art #7

Art by Shannon Law

A hand-drawn line, with our matching Smokey Plum marker gives nice definition to the border of this card. More sparkles! And a bitty one dots the "i" :-)

You get three in one today! Pink and grey are the soft colors featured here, with our Lucy papers. Add a scallop edge around the smaller badges, and it brings a whole different look.

March Stamp of the Month Art #5

Art by Tina Dupin

Our fresh "Pear" ink and paper are used here. What a great summery green! It makes me think of fresh lime slices. Sometimes, a single-color (monochromatic) card can make such a bright statement. Again - just a few sparkles, plus a neutral white ribbon finish it off.

March Stamp of the Month Art #4

Art by Julie Reynolds

Black and white is a "never-fail" for a classic look. Add a couple of bold square Clear Sparkles (Z1104), and it's a clean, sharp style. One Clear Bitty Sparkle (Z1263) added on the badge image creates that "visual triangle" of sparkle that is so pleasing to the eye.
