September Stamp of the Month Art # 3

Here Renee has cut two pumpkins from one of our Cricut cartridges and layered them.  That is such a quick and easy way to add dimension to your images!  Just "shadow" them.  She's stamped the SOTM image twice; once in Chocolate and once in Sunset.  Cut the "pumpkins" out of the Sunset and mount over the top of the Chocolate stamped image for an accent word.  Bronze Shimmer Trim adds shine to the bottom border.  All placed on the cute polka-dotted background of Babycakes Paper.

This 6 x 6 card gives plenty of room as a backdrop canvas for this large featured stamp.  The sanded grey cardstock is a nice contrast to the Red Shimmer Trim!

Huntington Papers are featured here, along with our Jute Ribbon and Antiqued Gold Mini-Medley Accent Collection.  Maggie split the one stamp - so half of it is featured above the jute, and half below.  Then she threaded the buttons with fibers taken from the jute ribbon.

Two Great Combinations

This layout combines the use of our new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge with the National Stamping Month special, "You Are My Happy" stamp sets.  The layout is SO quick and easy, when you use this cartridge. All elements are designed to be in proportion.  So when you select 11" for the main setting (the normal layout size for a 12 x 12 paper) then EVERYTHING - including the gifts, the banners, the "Birthday" title . . . they are ALL automatically cut to just the right size, so they are in proportion with the mats and everything else. Couldn't be easier!  Then the "Happy" and tag sentiment are added with our great trio of stamps, available for just $10 this month, with qualifying order.

Here is a close-up of the banner.  It's cut twice - once in Buttercup and once in Chocolate.  Place the Chocolate underneath and just a tad low to create a beautiful shadow effect.

The birthday gift stack is cut in Buttercup cardstock,

and the matching overlay us cut in Chocolate to add all the detail.
