April Stamp of the Month Art #6

Art by Darlys Recker

Look at the border on the left . . . Amazing! Darlys cut out a strip from our "Pemberly" paper here. See page 21 of our Spring/Summer Idea Book for more on this technique. The trimmed edges left the PERFECT space to add the little accent stamps.

April Stamp of the Month Art #5

Art by Debi Gardner

Like the grid texture on these flowers? It's done with one of the texture stamps in April's set. Just cut the flowers out with our Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, stamp with coordinating ink. Layer the two flowers, add a couple more circle cut-outs for the center, and top off with a brad. Add some dimension by gently curling the ends of the petals and brushing with the tiniest bit of black ink.

April Stamp of the Month Art #4

Our scalloped circle punch makes the perfect window on this little 3 x 3. Ink your stamp in Bamboo, rock the edges gently in a blue, and you get this great multi-colored image.

April Stamp of the Month Art #3

Art by Shannon Law

This 3 1/2 x 8 card is like a cool drink of water on a hot day! Simple stripes of BT paper and solid cardstocks make a great background for this simple card. It is finished off with our new Durable Studs, which add a great "pebble" type look to this paper.

April Stamp of the Month Art #2

Art by Tina Dupin

Lots of texture on this card! The stripes are made with that fun technique of embossing lines, using a bone folder or embossing tool and your paper trimmer as a guide. Do this on the backside of your cardstock. Then on the front, where the lines are raised, gently sand - and the white core of our beautiful colored cardstock will be exposed. It's like magic!

The dimensional element flower is covered with paper from our Florentine packet, and gently sanded on the edges. Top with a Pin Clip and Baker's Twine, and this card is done!

April Stamp of the Month Art #1

Art by Julie Reynolds

Our "Cruisin'" papers have this argyle print that is WONDERFUL to use with these stamps. The angular look blends perfectly with the sharp angles of the stamp images.
